Robert L. Brown, CPA

Robert founded R.L. Brown CPA, LLC in 2017 with a vision of providing business owners proactive tax, accounting, and advisory services that go beyond traditional compliance work. Drawing on more than 24 years of public accounting experience, he serves as a trusted advisor to entrepreneurs, executives, and closely held businesses throughout Georgia and across the United States.

He specializes in tax planning and compliance, IRS representation, outsourced CFO services, and strategic business consulting, with deep industry experience spanning restoration and remediation, construction, real estate, healthcare, professional services, and U.S. subsidiaries of foreign-owned companies. Before launching the firm, Robert spent more than 15 years with Metro Atlanta public accounting firms as an auditor, tax manager, and partner.

Robert attended Georgia Tech and the University of West Georgia, where he earned his BBA. He is a member of the AICPA and the Georgia Society of CPAs. Born and raised in Northwest Georgia, he lives in Gwinnett County and enjoys fitness training, cooking, and time with family and friends.

Lynda McGregor Jacobs

Lynda brings more than 30 years of accounting, financial management, and business leadership to clients across a wide range of industries, including ownership roles in retail and service businesses and over two decades as a controller. She is a recognized expert in restoration and mitigation accounting, helping contractors with job costing, industry-specific reporting, and profitability analysis, and she's proficient in platforms from QuickBooks to Xactimate, DASH, and Restoration Manager.

Ian Winslett

Ian has served the firm's clients since 2022, bringing a sharp analytical mindset and a disciplined approach to every engagement. A Certified QuickBooks Online ProAdvisor, he specializes in financial reporting, reconciliations, payroll, and general ledger management, and he is currently pursuing his Enrolled Agent designation with the IRS to deepen his tax expertise.

Lara King

Lara keeps the firm running and clients supported, combining several years of bookkeeping experience in receivables, payables, and reconciliation with more than two decades in office management. A certified QuickBooks ProAdvisor, she's known for her organization, follow-through, and the kind of timely, personal communication that keeps clients feeling informed.
